Why Complete Hockey Coaching?
With so many hockey camps available across the country, it's a fair question.
At Complete Hockey Coaching, we don't simply deliver hockey camps—we create elite coaching environments designed to accelerate player development.
Every session is built around the standards, expectations and detail of the international game, giving players a genuine insight into what it takes to perform at the highest level.
Every Complete Hockey Coaching camp is planned and led by our Directors of Coaching, whose combined playing and coaching experience is simply unrivalled.
Having competed in the highest domestic leagues across Scotland, England, France, Australia and New Zealand, as well as European competition, including the prestigious Euro Hockey League (EHL), they bring a global understanding of the modern game.
Internationally, they have represented Scotland from U16 through to Senior level, earning hundreds of senior international caps and competing at hockey's biggest events, including:
Olympic Games
World Cups
Commonwealth Games
European Championships
FIH World League
This experience shapes everything we do.
Every practice, every exercise and every coaching conversation is designed around the technical, tactical and mental demands of elite hockey.
Learn From Coaches Who Have Been There
Elite players are developed by elite coaches.
Our Directors have coached across every level of the performance pathway, including:
Head of Hockey programmes at leading schools across the UK
Head of Performance Hockey at leading universities
Clubs competing in the highest domestic leagues
Euro Hockey League and European Club Championships
Internationally, they have coached Scotland at U16, U18, U21, U23 and Senior level, as well as the Senior Indoor National Team, alongside coaching roles with Great Britain U21, U23 and Senior programmes.
They have prepared athletes for competition at:
European Championships
Commonwealth Games
FIH Hockey World Series
FIH Pro League
This isn't coaching based on theory.
It's coaching built on decades of experience operating within high-performance environments and developing players to compete on the international stage.
Individual Attention Creates Better Players
One of the biggest differences you'll notice at Complete Hockey Coaching is the amount of individual coaching every player receives.
We believe player development comes from quality interactions, meaningful feedback and purposeful repetition—not simply running larger groups through drills.
That's why we deliberately limit numbers on every camp.
Our coach-to-player ratios range from as low as 1:4, with a maximum of 1:10, allowing every player to receive individual feedback, technical correction and personal challenge throughout every session.
Quite simply, we coach players—not crowds.
A Coaching Team You Can Trust
Our wider coaching team shares the same philosophy and standards.
Every coach has played or coached at a minimum of U21 international level, with many currently working within senior international programmes.
Collectively, our coaches have developed players from U9 beginners through to Senior International athletes, ensuring every player receives coaching that is both age-appropriate and performance-focused.
Regardless of ability, every player is challenged, supported and inspired to improve.
Professionalism On and Off the Pitch
An elite experience extends beyond the coaching itself.
Every camp includes a dedicated Off-Pitch Manager, ensuring every aspect of the day runs professionally and seamlessly.
From registration and supervision to player welfare, lunch arrangements, parent communication and collections, every detail is managed so that our coaches can focus entirely on delivering world-class coaching.
More Than a Camp
Complete Hockey Coaching exists to provide players with an experience that goes beyond traditional holiday camps.
Our sessions replicate the standards, intensity and attention to detail found within international hockey programmes, while creating an enjoyable, challenging and supportive environment where players can thrive.
Whether your ambition is to enjoy the game more, earn selection for performance programmes or ultimately represent your country, Complete Hockey Coaching provides an environment where ambitious players can learn from coaches who have competed and coached at the very highest level.
Elite coaching. Individual attention. International standards. Every session.
